Visitantes extranjeros como el escalador colombiano Alberto Morales (en Cuba en 1998) se dieron cuenta de que la escalada en Cuba s\u00f3lo pod\u00eda desarrollarse con apoyo extranjero. Fue el primero en dejar su equipo de escalada en Cuba, ya que aqu\u00ed no hay tiendas de deportes y, por tanto, los cubanos no pueden procurarse equipo f\u00e1cilmente. En los a\u00f1os siguientes, muchos turistas siguieron su ejemplo y poco a poco se fue estableciendo una comunidad de escaladores en Cuba.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5f2f74e6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"5f2f74e6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Cubanture Climbing Support<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-47e4f903 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"47e4f903\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>En la actualidad, Cubanture apoya a un empresario canadiense que se ha propuesto equipar nuevas v\u00edas de escalada en Cuba o renovar las ya anticuadas. Cada a\u00f1o se desarrolla un nuevo sector de escalada o se renueva un muro de escalada obsoleto con un gran gasto. En 2023 pudimos donar 3 rutas en el nuevo sector de escalada \"Coco Solo\", en 2024 habr\u00e1 3 rutas en el sector \"Geisha\" que actualmente est\u00e1 siendo renovado y ampliado (3 rutas antiguas ser\u00e1n renovadas, 27 rutas m\u00e1s ser\u00e1n desarrolladas).<\/p><p>El proyecto est\u00e1 dirigido por Paul Lapierre, propietario de Tirex Climbing en Canad\u00e1. Fabrica bulones de titanio, que son especialmente duraderos. En Cuba, en particular, tiene sentido utilizar pernos de titanio o renovar las rutas existentes con estos pernos, ya que otros materiales se oxidan muy r\u00e1pidamente debido a la proximidad de la costa y el alto contenido de sal en el aire, haciendo que las rutas sean inutilizables debido al riesgo de accidentes.
