Why outdoor sports and environmental protection in Cuba needs your support?
In Cuba, a nation facing the tough realities of a socialist third-world environment, daily challenges can lead to despair and negative escapes such as drug use or emigration.
At CUBANTURE we believe deeply in the power of outdoor activities. Not only because of their meditative and healing benefits but also for enhancing well-being and serving as a healthy alternative for stress relief.
The children of Cuba represent the future of the country. Yet, every day, thousands of Cubans leave, including many talented athletes and activists who have fought for positive change.

Our vision is to help Cuba regain a healthy and nature-connected image, making adjustments to the image of Cuba, so that it’s known not only for its rum and tobacco but also for its natural beauty and sports opportunities.
In Cuba, there are no stores for outdoor sports equipment. Locals depend on donations from tourists or have to import their gear from abroad, a process fraught with difficulties.
Without access to foreign currency, it is nearly impossible for most Cubans to obtain the necessary sports equipment.
With the revenues generated by Cubanture, we seek ways to bring outdoor equipment and sports gear to Cuba and make it accessible to the children as well.

Cuba lacks comprehensive environmental protection, but with your support, Cubanture is changing that. Through clean-ups financed by us, we aim to clear outdoor sports areas, such as climbing spots and surfing beaches, of trash, transforming them into pristine venues attractive for sports activities and enjoyable for both athletes and families.
The local community is actively involved and takes independent charge of protecting their 'spots,' showing a strong commitment to improving and safeguarding their natural playgrounds.
