Why supporting outdoor sports and environmental protection in Cuba is so important?
In Cuba, where people face the challenges of a socialist third-world environment, many turn to negative coping mechanisms such as drug use or leaving the country due to the tough daily struggles.
At CUBANTURE, we truly believe in the incredible power of outdoor activities. They not only offer a sense of peace and healing but also contribute to overall well-being and provide a healthy outlet for stress relief.
The children of Cuba are the future of the country, but every day, talented athletes and activists leave, which hampers the progress of positive change.

Our vision is to help Cuba re-establish a healthy and nature-connected identity, shifting the focus from being known solely for its rum and tobacco to also being recognized for its natural beauty and sports opportunities.
In Cuba, there are no stores selling outdoor sports equipment. Locals rely on donations from tourists or struggle to import gear from abroad, which is a challenging process.
Due to the lack of access to foreign currency, obtaining necessary sports equipment is nearly impossible for most Cubans.
Through the revenue generated by Cubanture, we aim to bring outdoor equipment and sports gear to Cuba, making it accessible to the children and the community.

Cuba lacks comprehensive environmental protection, but with your support, Cubanture is working to change that. We finance clean-up efforts to clear outdoor sports areas, such as climbing spots and surfing beaches, of trash, transforming them into clean venues suitable for sports activities and enjoyable for athletes and families.
The local community actively participates and takes charge of protecting their favorite spots, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving and safeguarding their natural playgrounds.
